i'm pretty sure this is a coyote... went searching for deer in the cemetery this morning and came upon this beastie... in the interests of full disclosure, this has been edited to death to make it look like a night shot rather than a daytime shot...
for week 34 of the Dogwood challenge... this week we're supposed to be working on technique for shooting wildlife... and the instructions are to: "capture a compelling wildlife photograph that has proper subject alignment (e.g., no "bird butts") and exposure"... so.... this!
@summerfield prolly closer than i should've been, but not that close really... i (foolishly) did try to get a bit closer, but it turned tail and ran... i have another one of it glaring at me from between a couple gravestones which i might try to etsooi tomorrow...
