the empty glass - what if there's just nothing left?

i was pondering the whole "glass half empty / glass half full" thing today, and this idea came to me... i really wanted a droplet coming off the edge, but i couldn't make it happen in camera and i wasn't happy with my photoshop effort... so keeping it (reasonably) simple...
