@mcsiegle challenged me to "do a suitably Halloweenish picture that will also fit the mundane pumpkin challenge"... whaddaya think? not specifically creepy per se, but suitably dark, no?
incidentally, this was a rather accidental shot... i was intending to use the flash to light up the mist from the mini humidifier... i had a small lamp on facing away to give me some ambient light to work with and i noticed it was giving me a rather interesting lighting effect... so i decided to go with it...
as a total aside, i now i have the lyrics from the nine inch nail song rattling around my head... it's not called "bow down" so i won't trouble you with a link to the youtube vid... but those of you into the alternative industrial scene no doubt know that to which i refer ;p
Lighting is definitely "Halloweenish" and you've even included the quintessential, traditional Halloween penguin character. :-) Extra points for Charlie Brown reference.
