another craptastic mess, i'm afraid... a composite of a polar bear from my zoo trip last month, and the cemetery taken today... because the cemetery felt a bit empty ;p
(thank you for being so kind about my latest shots... just not feeling it much these past few days... ah well - another year is around the corner... hopefully my phojo will return!)
Hi Northy - thanks for showing the link here - very kind of you. And I do believe you are being very harsh with your self analysis - I like him and his nonchalance very much!
Also - I have just read that we are matched for this week's Get Pushed. I have scanned back through your project and have just sighed with envy at your mastery of photography! So, if it's OK with you I would like you to please produce a portrait which identifies and illustrates one of the main lighting techniques used by portrait photographers. Notice that this is only a thinly disguised request for you to add to my learning curve...... P.S. If possible could you please use a real person. Cheers Rob :)
I do like this.
It has a lot of detail and the bear looks so natural as if he is actually walking amongst the tombstones. It really works well in B&W.
A FAV!
@robz tx Rob... I was really struggling with the light on this.. plus I really wanted to use a rhino, but none of my rhino shots were suitably posed 🙃... as for my push challenge - thanks... portraiture is always a push for me... so it will be good for me to be forced to practice! I will set you a challenge later today...
So well done - can you imagine going back in time with this photo and explaining digital and photoshop? Amazing how used we have become to these incredible editing tools
