Cool. I want to try this but not with fire but I guess you are using a light stick. I brought a couple now I need someone to hold it and be able to stay awake until dark.
i really need to practice or make an effort to have some decent light painting shots. when it's not so hot anymore (as i hate mosquitoes), let's do a night walkabout with light painting on the side! aces on this!
@joansmor definitely not fire! it's a set of miniature lights on a wire - i was holding them above my head and swinging round in a circle 🙂
@helenhall - honestly - minimal effort was required! i just swung the lights around for a few seconds and that was it!
@summerfield - sure! i was thinking that too... i'm less concerned about the heat and more about how long it takes to get truly dark right now... maybe in a few weeks time?
All that spinning has punched a hole in the dark matter! I was tempted to get myself a mask while in Venice but I thought of your shots, suspected I couldn't do as well and decided not to put is to the test!
