from the steps of the Trocadero... apparently one of the "things to do" in Paris is shoot the Eiffel Tower from the Trocadero at dawn... our hotel was within walking distance so it was pretty easy to get to at 6am...
the sun doesn't rise behind the tower at this time of year, it still is a nice sight... the Trocadero was a bit of a mess - clearly the masses had been partying there overnight... most were gone by the time i arrived... but there were at least two model shoots in progress, and a couple of photogs had set themselves up in the fountain presumably to get a nice reflection shot...😎
