the warholian horse

for get pushed this week @vera365 challenged me to an Andy Warhol inspired image... i had this idea some weeks ago as i was experimenting with light and decided to go back to it... the settings for each of these images was the same - only the lighting was changed... similarly i used the same settings in processing other than a few tweaks to get some pure white and pure black in each image... not exactly a Warhol-type picture, but definitely inspired by his works nonetheless... i have plans for another image later this week...

ps - i am still frustrated with the collage process... these 4 images were smushed together in photoshop... no clue whether they are properly lined up or not because after a few minutes of fiddling i decided i didn't care... sigh...

pps - if you look at this on black you can't really tell that they aren't properly lined up... ;p
Nicely done- I think that Mr. Warhol, although an avid user of color would be pleased with your black and white version.

That is very Andy Warhol. I just saw the exhibit in San Francisco a few months ago. Nicely done.

PhotoscapeX a free program is so good at collages, basic but easy. AW would approve of your no colours take!! Love top right knight

Fabulous, love the top right. Interesting to see all the differences by just changing the light. Must try this

Andy meets Northy. A machine artist may have aligned perfectly. Humans don't need to bother. The way a slightly crooked tooth, innocent of orthodontia, contains "character. "
