A friend of mine shared an image that he stated was SOOC of a spoon that had a shadow of a fork. I've always wanted to re-create it as a lighting exercise. I presume that the fork is adhered to a clear medium (glass) and a piece of paper sits on top of that. The spoon is on top of the paper. A strong light from below the fork to create the shadow and a weaker light for the spoon to make it look as though it's the spoon's shadow. #SOOCGoals
@welby well hmmm.... i might have to try this... just for something to do... (mind you - SOOC and i have only a passing acquaintance... so you can pretty much count on a fair bit of editing on anything i post 🙃)
@northy Part of my hesitation (other than skittishness around off-camera flash) is that I wanted to come up with something similar but not a duplicate, but never quite figured out what to substitute for the utensils. Though at just this moment I may have just gotten an idea...
