I am not sure this composition quite works... I would have liked the gentlemen walking to have been a bit closer to the piano... I also debated whether or not this looks better in colour or black or white... I almost, but not quite, prefer b&w... if you are interested, a b&w version is here: http://www.flickr.com/photos/northy44/7559267566/in/photostream
@beachradish tx Beachradish!!! i thought about tagging it for btr... maybe i still will... i already tagged it for two other themes... three seemed just a bit too efficient, doncha know! ;p
Interesting. . .I think I like the b&w better, but simply because the piano "art" is a bit overwhelming. We had these installations in Cincinnati two years ago, I think. . . great composition!
Love this! I like the b&w better. The detail on the piano is fabulous, and I think it stands out better in the b&w because there are not competing colors. You are drawn to that pattern. Great catch!
You're right; it's difficult to say which is better; full colour or b&w. I like both; the details are very sharp in both versions. The eyes of the guy looking back are just as creepy in both... ;-p
Oh Wow! Great shot and how come I have only just seen this one? Because that guy's head is turned so far back I think it works. There is a case for arguing that they should be further on because then you might have got a clear, separated reflection
