One of twelve... this is an internal walkway that runs thru a window at Union Station (main train station in Toronto)... those windows are four stories tall, and i think there is a walkway on each one... I don't think it is public, but I really don't know... I'm still sorting out the settings I need to nail this shot, but I am sure I will figure it out eventually :)
Did you know that the Beatles have a song called "Catswalk"? I didn't... I only found it when doing some research for ideas for this week's theme... although there appears to be some controversy over it really is theirs - but whatevs ;p
@lynnb actually - i think they are to get from one end of the office floors to another... but i really don't know... googling hasn't turned up much (altho' i haven't tried all that hard)... and even my husband doesn't know (and usually he knows everything about everything!!!)
Great find. I am sure others will disagree strongly, but with the up angled camera, I might have tried to pull the tops forward a little to maintain the sense of the large scale. Not so much for vertical reasons, but for the inevitable foreshortening of the tops.
Of course, you can't do this with this shot or crop, room would have to left at the top and especially on the right edge so as not to lose the detail that makes this shot tell a story.
