garbage...

kinda literally... this is the top of a city garbage can...

this is for my get pushed challenge set by @30pics4jackiesdiamond ... Jackie challenged me to recreate a photo taken by one of the people i follow, using the style of another person i follow...

this was TRICKY!!! i was finding that style, subject choice and compositional choices are often quite intertwined...

so... this thing... this image is loosely based on images posted by @moonbi (Jason)... Jason tends to shoot minimalist abstracts - often "flat lays" of mundane things... his images tend to be more about shape or pattern than dof or light... some examples of his work

in terms of processing and style, while Jason does use colour, it tends to be pre-existing colour - and processing tends to be subtle...

@Kingstonroadcreative on the other hand tends to post urban night scenes that are vibrant - melding light and colour, often with an emphasis on turquoise and orange or pink... some examples of their work are here:

I see you and Jason and Kingston road's styles in this and it is so abstract which you don't do.

Love the diagonal comp and colors and the way the light glows off the photo. Nicely done. Also, looks moonbi’s style to me.
