@valpetersen challenged me to take a "wild June" shot which combines macro detail and vibrant colour...
this was taken with the macro lens and then cropped to zoom in closer...
i actually think this would have looked better without the bug, but he refused to leave, and this was the only dandy left in the yard (in fact, the only flower in the yard period)...
