Buttercup

I spotted this little buttercup in my lawn and while lying on the grass taking this picture I got four blackfly bites. Next time I'll need bug spray.

There are quite a few black flies up here in NL Nova - I was warned before I left Lunenburg. I bought the bug spray and lotion but so far we have been lucky and not needed it. I also bought a thing to remove ticks as I was told Nova Scotia is really bad for ticks and to be careful I didn't get Limes disease! Any other animals or insects I need to protect myself from? Lol! Gorgeous image! Fav!

The dreaded black fly - you can't feel them biting but they leave you in itchy lumps! The things we do - this one has so much light reflection!
