As I waited for my friend to arrive for our walk, I saw this little girl playing by the shallow water. She was being watched carefully by her mom, who I cropped out of this shot. :)
I'm surprised by the number of children I see with wings now running about in public. Never tolerated when I was a little girl! These, she will have to take care of!
Upside down wings. Lovely colourful shot. This photo took me back 60 years to when my sister and I were young children. Mum had made fairy wings for my sister and they were beautiful, but Anita still wasn't impressed. She sat on the swing in our garden crying and said 'How can I be a fairy with a hole in my sock' Mum had to darn the sock to cheer her up.
