You look in this photograph like a woman contemplating her future with a positive attitude. Which I'm sure you are. And I think it is well deserving of a fav.
You know it is strange that we have known each other on this site for some time but can be surprised to actually see the other person. A 21 century relationship I suppose.
Thank you for all your kind words.
As a part of generation x, I'm no pro at selfie like so many of the kids these days. But as I needed a b&w shot for my annual photobook (as I feature myself on the cover, cause it's my book LOL) it was time.
I did show this image to the people in my house and here are a few of the words they said: severe, rbf, intense, not the real you and where is your shirt mom.
@pamknowler Pam you will have to look at my next photo as it shows a different view of me. I'm sure you will like that one better.
@jack4john John, nice to see you pop by and check out what I've been up to. It's so true, we usually can identify the person by their photographic style and not their own image. And I'm always more comfortable behind the lens as most of us are. :)
Interesting Image, I find the harsh lighting and contrast does not creating the most pleasing of portraits, I'm with your nearest and dearest on this one Nova:)
This is a beautiful ans very artistic self-portrait. I like it from the photo-thingy point-of–view very much,... but... please see comment in the other picture...
