Yes, it is my birthday today and yes I'm now 50 years old. I don’t know what 50 is supposed to feel like, so I’ll just keep on being me. :)
What have I learned in the first half of my life?
My "normal" is not the same as everyone else's, and that is okay.
Life is too short to surround yourself with people who diminish your inner light.
Listen to your gut, it’s usually right.
Live in the ‘present’, not the past.
Have a great day and take time to celebrate the little things in life, as they are important too!

congrats and have a great day. I passed that milestone almost 5 years ago and the only thing life has taught me is the older I get the less I really know. As much as I can I go with the flow, but with my eyes open...enjoy ..enjoy...

It was an awesome day, with a long walk on the beach & lunch with my sister, supper & chocolate cake with my family and close friends and some new camera gear. My hubby got me a monopod for my camera, but I really think he got it to help me with my balance problems. Either way it's a win win! Thanks so much!
