I finally got a bird on the stick, although the sun disappeared and it got overcast, resulting in a higher ISO with following noise. I was waiting and waiting for one to sit there when the sun was shining. I gave up, but went out a last time, and within a few minutes a house sparrow landed on the stick. I also saw a blue tit feeding of the groundnut feeder as well, so I attract some different species in the garden.
