On my way to the reception at Langedrag Nature Park, I passed this enclosure with St. Kilda Soay sheep. A couple of them came over, clearly enjoying a scratch on the head.
I didn’t plan to take a photo, so my camera was still in the bus — but sometimes the moment itself matters more than the equipment.
It was cold up there today; the ground was frozen, and a light dusting of snow covered the distant mountains.
