Parts of the church yard of St Leodegarious Church in Basford has been made into a garden which is gradually being developed. On three mornings a week when someone is there it is open to the public. Unfortunately it has to be kept locked due to miss use and vandalism. I often look at it over the wall or through the railings. Today on my way home from the doctors I was able to go in, sit in the sunshine and enjoy the relative peacefulness of it despite the noise of traffic from the ring road and passing trams and trains'
