Hoodwinked 4

Had to do some tasks in the city today and discovered four more Robins, three near the station. I have now seen 22 of the 33 robins without searching for them.
5 A City Built on Wisdom – Artist Adam Pekr
The design is inspired by an antique plaque of the University of Nottingham’s coat of arms. It represents Nottingham’s rich history of knowledge and learning, which continues to evolve through time in both formal and informal education
1 Royal Robin Redbreast – Artist Julie Vernon
The design is inspired by the history of Royal connections to Nottingham Castle. William the Conqueror built the first castle in 1067 and Royal residents have included Henry II and Richard the Lionheart. It is also where Richard III left to ride into battle at Bosworth. The mosaic design reflects the fact that each Robin can be recognised by a unique breast pattern
3 Robo Robin - Artist Glen Brooks
Robo Robin was inspired by the vintage robots of the 1950s and 60s. The artist was keen to create such a fun character – great for the children and people of Nottingham to really enjoy and have fun interacting with.
2 Judge Robin – Artist Susan Webber
Robin is undercover as a Law Court Judge, dress in a red robe with white fur cape and curly wig. He hopes to deal out good and fair justice to all. Nottingham has a great history in law and justice.
Alex and I like these owls :)
