the smaller pond next to Iremongers pond has been cleared of a lot of the reeds which were covering a lot of the pond. on the right of the photo you can just see big pond and beyond it the embankment where Wilford tram stop is. On the left is a high brick wall and embankment , these embankment and the pond area are part of the flood defenses stopping the river Trent flooding Wilford.
