My camera is a bit limited for shots like this. I wanted to get more of a contrast between the glass dish and the strawberries, but I don't have a place in my home where I can set it up and have a clean background at the same time. The final product here was a compromise, but with my limitations, it turned out okay.
I can understand yoru limitations, i'm in the same boat. But I was intrigued enough to click on the photo to get a better look, and I think you did a good job. The strawberries look yummy, and now I have a subject for the berries I bought earlier today besides eating.
Thanks for the positive feedback everyone. It's encouraging. Not only do I have to rearrange when I take pictures in my kitchen, I also have to make sure I stand just right, so the lights don't cast my shadow into the picture! I can't wait for the spring thaw so I can venture out of my home to take pictures as well as taking them inside. Thanks again for the kind words!
