I have been without a car since Oct. 2010. But thanks to the generosity of some friends, I now have an indefinite loan until my car is repaired. With the temperature in the 70's yesterday, I can't explain the sense of freedom I had being able to jump in the car and run a quick errand with the window down!! I took "her" to the car wash, like I was going to a hair dresser and noticed this nice shiny reflection when I got home. The wavy lines reminded me of the open road. Those 70 degree days are still a rarity, but the freedom of a car is not anymore!
