Green Eggs!

Jane and Stephen brought us some eggs from "the girls" when they came to visit. What a surprise to open the carton and find 4 green eggs- yes, GREEN eggs! I've been waiting for a blah day to photograph them and it came today. Now, I can eat them and see if I really like green eggs and ham.

I like the composition. My friend has about 30 chickens, and it’s always a treat to open the carton when she brings me a bunch of eggs. You never know what you’ll get!

I've seen greenish colored eggs, but they were spoiled. They really smelled bad too.

We have hens that lay green eggs and sometimes blue, too. So pretty and just the same on the inside as any brown or white egg. Enjoy!

Roe Jan- Blue eggs!? And I thought green eggs were unique. It just goes to show me- the saying "you learn something new everyday" really can be true. Alliterater- we did not eat them with a mouse, but we did eat them in a house. We would eat them here or there; we would eat them anywhere!
