Last year my friend Jane allowed me to dig out some Jack in the Pulpit from her woods so I could transplant them in my meager gardens. I knew there were some other forest favorites mixed in with them, but had forgotten about them until yesterday when I was greeted by these happy May Apples blooming merrily away in my garden. I love surprises like that!
@picturelover101 Thanks Kay! I feel like I've improved in my florals since this was taken. I don't have a fancy camera, but I've found the sweet spot in my little point and shoot's macro, so now I'd think I'd get an even better shot of them. Next year...
