My visit with Leigh was only a little over 24 hours but we had so much fun. We went food shopping on Thursday after I picked her up from Mom. Then we went out to lunch and had ice cream for dessert. When we got home she noticed all the acorns on the ground and immediately wanted to collect some. So after the groceries were put away, we got a basket and found some really pretty ones!

Love the way she proudly shows them off in the last picture..must have been fun..how I miss the little ones..they are all grown up now. the youngest is 13 already.
@bruni Thank you Bruni! Time does fly, doesn't it. She's going to be 5 on Tuesday; seems like yesterday we were heading out to Batavia to welcome her into the world!
@daveanajao Thank you Dave! I will tell her all my photography friends are wishing her a happy birthday. She was fascinated that you all lived in different country so we looked at a map of the world and I pointed some of them out.
@mrssmith Thanks Carla. It was a blessing to have her even for just a night. My spirits have been somewhat low lately, so this was definitely a morale booster.
