I don't remember whether this is a weekly theme, a general challenge, or what- I just remembered what the tag was and took the shot! Am I on challenge overload? Maybe!
@karenann lol Karenann- enjoying yes, losing track- absolutely!! @espyetta Thanks MaryBeth- I will definitely watch myself! Actually this is a canister with all my spatulas, wooden spoons and whisks in it. It's shot from the top looking down into the can. There are two spatulas and a whisk in this shot. @bruni Thanks Bruni- a good guess, but incorrect- two spatulas and a wire whisk.
@pulguis Thanks Pulguis. My rule of thumb is "take a look and then take another look!" Meaning look at something the way you usually look at it, and then, look at it in a different way. @bkbinthecity Thank you Brian! @woot Thank you Davide- this is not really hard though. It's a regular picture which has been altered by processing. In this case, I inverted the picture (which made all the light things dark and all the dark things light) and then "posterized" it. Two very simple effects, but they totally change the picture. @inertie Thanks Inertia! There are so many interesting things in the kitchen! @alia_801 Thanks Alia! The picture by itself was somewhat abstract because of the pov, but the processing just topped it off. @nicolecampbell Thanks Nicole- it is a shot of my spatulas, wooden spoons and wire whisks taken from overhead. I then inverted the shot and posterized it. @digitalrn You figured me out Rick!! Thanks for the smile! @prttblues Thanks Bev! @steeler Thanks Howard! @jml0306 Thank you Joseph! @geertje Thanks Geertje! As far as I know the idea is to take a picture of a common household item and then turn it into an abstract picture. @sarasdadandmom Thank you Terry! @cimes1 Thanks Carole!
