I'm posting tomorrow's shot a bit early as we will be heading to Connecticut tomorrow for a wedding. Here's my final installment for the week of shapes. I saw it the other day while food shopping and was struck by how tightly drawn together the center petals were.
Awesome capture and great B&W effect. Re your comments on my picture of yesterday, cleaning and restoration of the rampart itself is also going on. Yes, I too saw the opening ceremony of the Olympics and saw the Maltese contingent. I too was thinking of my 365 friends everytime a contingent from the country they come from walks past the tv screen.
Lovely and how nice all your round shape beauties appear in your thumbnail. Very well done. I love weddings! Be sure to get some pix and have a great time!
Safe travels and enjoy the wedding..are you the official wedding photographer or just taking pictures alongside him? whichever way can't wait to see them.
Annn you have finished the week out with a FAV! I love this and i love how these flowers flowers petals are arranged! Your calender view is beautiful! Hope you have a fun and safe trip! :)
Great job! I love how you stuck to the floral theme. Funny you will be going to Connecticut for a wedding... On Thursday, I'm going to Connecticut for a funeral. Have a great time at the wedding. Nice job on this photo.

But I did catch a few shots behind him- and then some of my own. A collage might appear today- we'll see. @daisy thank you Kathryn! @dmariewms thank you Marie! @ellimae thank you Ellen! And thank you for the fav!! @lyno thank you Lyn! @wenbow thank you Wendy! @prttblues thanks Bev! I'm so sorry to hear that- but it's truly one of the quirks in life isn't it? Yesterday the bride wore some pearls that were her grandmother's. "Grandma Rose" died just a year ago and is very much missed. The circle of life keeps going 'round- one leaves the family; one joins.
Ann, this is beautiful and a Fav. for me. Sorry I haven't been following you. I go on everyday and can't find a lot of people that are doing the challenge, so I just reply to the ones that say something to me. I just now found out how you can find out who was doing it, a little late. You are very talented, by the way. Beautiful shot of Mums, I think.
@granny7 thank you so much Linda! And thank you so much for the fav too! I must apologize as well- I've picked up so many new followers lately and get so far behind! I've been trying the method of answering and viewing the pictures of those who comment on mine and it does help but I find so many things slip through the cracks that way- such as checking out who else is doing the challenge! So please don't feel bad about missing out on mine. I appreciate any view or comment on my work and thank you so much for those kind words and compliment. They mean a lot to me!
@pandorasecho Thank you so much Dixie! You are too kind! Say, I know you have a blog- I've had several people encourage me to start one and I think I'm finally ready to commit to something like that. How did you get that started and where do you post it? Someone had mentioned google, but I don't know if there's others out there that are better or where to even look! And I am slowly converting a mss I had in Word to PDF for the website you recommended. I so appreciate having your expertise to draw on! Thanks again for the "month of favs" comment! (o:
@olivetreeann I post on blogspot.com which is free and easy to set up. I have three there. One about writing. One random And a private one just budget abd weight abd goals progress that is my eyes only
@pandorasecho Thanks Dixie! That rings a bell- I think another writer friend from a few years back used that one and someone from my teaching days who was documenting her search for her birth family. Thanks again for always answering my questions!! I've enjoyed reading your blogs when you've posted the link.
