You'd be hard pressed to see where this is over exposed, but believe me it is! What I found interesting with this flower is that the over exposure actually darkened the flower and washed out the background. It was so severe looking I added the vignette to tone it down a bit. Not bad- but I still like the tulips better!

@automaticslim Thanks Andy! The range is surprising to me as I thought shooting it in an over exposed mode would pretty much wash everything out. But, it didn't!

Lesson learned: one of the benefits of a high key photo is that it accentuates detail- like the veins on a rose petal.
