Went out to pick up the garbage cans this morning and discovered this beautiful butterfly feasting on my Coneflowers. After I uploaded my shots, I felt guilty for all the times I've complained about my "little rinky-dink camera". I couldn't believe what I'd captured. I don't often say this, in fact, I don't think I've ever said this, but please view this large!
Addendum: I checked it out "large" by using the little magnifying glass but you only get to see the top of his wings- so never mind! But believe me, the detail on his body is awesome- you can see all the little hairs on his head!
Brilliant shot! It worked fine for me in view large, and was well worth the close-up! (Sometimes the 'large' viewer is a bit funny and doesn't scroll properly for me)

H-O-L-Y COW!!!!!!!! Wow wow wow wow ... did I say wow??? What a shot!! And I used the magnifying glass and saw all of it! Exceptional detail!!! If you can't see the whole thing, try using a different browser (I use Google Chrome).... This is such a perfect shot! It's BEAUTIFUL!!! Well done, Ann! :)
@prttblues Thanks Bev! I have to say, I'm so excited about this picture! And it's been months, months, months since I had something on the PP so I really was soooo excited to see it there. That'll hold me over till next year when the next one pops up! lol I really don't worry about that too much as you know but when I uploaded this shot into my computer, that's what I kept saying- wow wow wow....! @mhatch Thank you Mark! Yes- I think the difference is that the fellow in the photo store changed the settings when I purchased my latest camera card from him. I had it set in the mid-range of pixels etc. and he put it up to the top. Since it's a card that holds a higher number of pictures, it's ok, but if I was using my former brand and capacity, I don't think it would be that advantageous to keep the settings there.
