Today's Try 4 July word was silver or sparkle. I know I'm stretching it a bit here with the "solar flare" adding a little sparkle to the shot, but I'm so happy to have my Tiger Lilies blooming this year that I've just got to post another shot of one today!
Thank you Kerri, Timothy, Judith, Yao, Taffy, Maggie, Cindy, Nicole, Phil, Gerry, Ruth, Dione, Rick, Jane, Donald and Roe Jan for your enthusiastic comments! They really are such a spectacular lily and blossom #3 is about to open- maybe today- so there might be a few more popping up in the next few days!
@yaorenliu They don't seem to have as much pollen as some of the other plants Yao, but they have their fare share. You can see some on the water drop shot located at the end of the stamen on those little brown pads.
@pflaume Thank you Lisa! @mrssmith203 Thank you Carla! lol It is a fun story- Ann LeFevre the reckless side! @henrir Thank you Henri! It is pretty, isn't it? @netkonnexion Thank you Damon! Your articles are encouraging me to not only shoot but to choose the non-typical approach with the pictures I take and post.
@nathanheustis Thank you Nathan! And thank you for the follow! @allie912 Thank you Allison! The sun on this day was particularly welcome after we had 4 huge downpours! @sarasdadandmom Thank you Terry!
oh i LOVE this flower. i love the light and all the speckles! would love to preserve the bloom time. i guess a photo does, but wish these awesome Lilys would last for months and months!
@potsbypam Thank you Pam! It was particularly nice to see it on this day- we had 4 huge downpours in the morning and afternoon. @moreyoulessme Thank you Jerri! I've been so happy to see them this year. I only have 3 blossoms, but each one is beautiful!
