Last installment for the first week of our Photography Book Club. It's been interesting to deliberately break the rules of photography. Although it is not advantageous to just break them willy-nilly, this week's group of exercises has shown me that you can break them to your advantage.
I was excited to find that my laptop would finally read my Canon camera card today. I'm not sure why, but I think that when I renewed my security program, that allowed whatever updates were waiting out there in cyberland to finally download into the computer. At any rate, I was finally able to see on the large screen a shot I took the other day.
On this picture I both over-exposed and intentionally moved the camera while shooting. I applied the "cross-process" effect in Ribbet to give it a little color.
hmmm...that reminds me i didn't post my intentional blur shot for the exercises. i'm trying to figure out what those little squiggles on the left are. nice effect.
We were listening to the Light Classical music station on our cable while Jeff was painting the room and I was working on my laptop at the dining room table. I can't quite read what was playing at the time, but the M and C stand for Music Choice which is the name of the company which programs the music I think. Thanks Vikki.
