My final shot for week 2. I stopped by the Vegetable Lady's stand today and she had sunflower blossoms for sale. I came home with lots of veggies and some beautiful flowers. I tried taking some close-ups of their centers from a unique perspective, but none of them came out focused. (I think it was me and not the camera.) I decided I would try again tomorrow and went on 365 to reply to the comments on yesterday's shot. While doing so, I just happened to wonder what the petals would look like from the opposite side, where the light was behind them. Following Patterson's rule of taking at least 20 shots, I fired off 35, 6 of which I kept, 3 of which I processed and 1 of which I posted. This one seems to have a sense of fire- although I'm not sure what emotion I'd attach to that. But then, you might have a different idea altogether.
@kerristephens Thank you Kerri! @vankrey Thank you Michael! @yaorenliu Thank you Yao! I was trying to think of an emotion you'd have if you were in an argument- but angry didn't fit the color. Passion might work though because passion can be romantic or it can be something you believe strongly in.
I have not dine that activity yet. Maybe I will attempt it today. I think this is exactly what that activity was made for! This is a common object, seen in an uncommon way. It is just like flames. Fav
Thank you Taffy, Brian, Maggie, Lisa, Timothy, Nicole, Jane, Sally, Dione, Marybeth, Rick, Colleen, Dixie, and Diane!!
@salza It was actually shot horizontally and I changed it to a vertical when I decided it looked like flames.
@espyetta Thank you so much for the fav Mary Beth!
@pflaume lol Lisa- I had just gotten myself into the habit of being more discerning and not taking tons of shots to go through and now I'm supposed to be doing that!
@moreyoulessme Thank you Jerri! lol I had just gotten myself to stop taking "thousands" of shots when I didn't need to and the exercises in this book insist that you take at least 20 each time! Thankfully, I have become very picky about how many I keep!
