I had thought I would continue with a documentary style shot today, but when I saw the way the snow had drifted in the woods behind our house and the shadows of the trees falling like streamers blowing over the drifts I decided to switch things up and shoot a landscape today. I love how the black and white draws out the gray areas of the shadows. Although it was somewhat noticeable in the color version, the black and white really highlights it much better.
Shot in color, converted to black and white with a "blue" filter applied during conversion.
