People watching at Celticfest was great fun! This quartet caught my eye as I sat listening to a Celtic group perform. I think they may have misunderstood- it's Celtic-fest, not Cell-phone-fest!
Superb candid street capture. It's amazing how the mobile phone has become such an integral part of life. For many it rules their life and takes precedence over everything!
Nice candid, Ann. Too many people have their noses in the cell phones these days that they don't take the time to enjoy the things around them. One of the reasons I don't use my cell for web, text or anything. Only calls and emergency ones at that.
How much of life people are missing, eh? Wish I could squash all the phones, or hide them. But then, what on earth would young people do with themselves? Nice candid!

Most of the time I find them annoying- but every now and then, they do come in handy- like when we got lost bringing my niece to the bus depot in Allentown and she called up her GPS and got us straightened out in a flash!
Haha. It really made me laugh. In my recent Beijing trip, I found nearly everyone is hooked in their devices. Even in the dinner party. It is outrageous.
