I was absolutely fascinated with the water of the Niagara River as it tumbled over the American Falls. If it had been sunnier and less windy, I probably could have sat there all day!
I agree with you Annie, there's something about moving water. When I get home again, if the knee is better, I intend to walk part way up Slieve Donard to a spot where the water tumbles down and drink it in.
@thresheg@leananiemand Thank you Graham and Leana for the favs! They are very much appreciated as I was trying for some different than the typical Niagara shot.
@maggiemae Thank you Maggie! Yes, it's a great zoom shot. I love my new camera and wouldn't dare think of getting it so close to the mist here that it might get damaged. So I was really thankful for its fantastic zoom.
@mhatch Thanks Mark! Actually the first time we met, we did meet on the Canadian side. But there were two differences. First I did not have this camera and secondly it was a rainy and damp day so we did not walk all the way down to the Falls. However you may like this shot I took in 2006 from The Maid of the Mist (scanned and posted to 365 in 2013): http://365project.org/olivetreeann/themes-and-comp/2013-09-27
