The Harbinger

Mr. Cardinal returned to the birdfeeder today and I was so happy to see him! He saw me at my tripod and flitted up into this tree. I love how his bright red feathers shine in the afternoon sun. Maybe Spring is not as far off as I think!

Many thanks my friends! I'm glad you enjoyed my little splash of red against that fleeting blue sky! Today it was snowy and gray- but thankfully Mr. Cardinal's red was still a stand out and kept me smiling.

He is so lovely and vibrant. I haven't seen a cardinal yet this winter, but I've been hearing them. I need a bird feeder to bring them to me. This is a fantastic capture. Definitely a fav for me!
