Gorgeous backdrop to this cute little bird. We had a big fat pigeon come down our chimney! There's a lot of soot on the ceiling! I had to chase him out, not easy! Whilst my daughter was screaming her head off aged 20.
Fav, He does look awesome even sitting in the snow. but enough is enough. we don't have fresh snow, but the day looks gloomy. it rained all night and I miss the sunshine.

I'm sorry, but this is beautiful and funny at the same time!!! What is funny is that you're getting 5 inches of snow on the First Day of Spring!!! I know, I know, it's not funny and you must be tired of it all!!! The photo is excellent and shows the emotion of you and the little bird!! Huge Fav!!!

@homeschoolmom Thank you Lisa! This is the male. The female looks very similar but she is a lighter color, ranging from light gray to brown. The most distinctive thing about a Junco is the flashes of white on their tail wings when they fly. So if you see those white flashes as they flit about, you'll know you've got a Junco.
