My sister and her family came for Easter dinner yesterday and she brought me a pot of lilies (which are now making me sneeze!) and a pot of tulips (pictures to follow!). I should have centered this a little better, but I really like the close-up of the point where the stamen pour out of the petals on this lily. It reminded me of how water spills over the edge of a waterfall.
I can't have lilies in my house because the close my throat. In stores this time of year I am always holding my breath passing the lilies on sale. So this is a lovely shot but I'll never be able to get one of lilies in my project.
@joansmor My nose gets a little itchy and my throat a little raspy from them but not as bad as your reaction. I will probably be putting it outside soon!
