I went to Branch Brook Park in Newark, NJ today with a friend from the camera club. What a great day to be out with the camera! Although I was there to capture the beauty of the cherry blossoms which were in full bloom, I couldn't help but be attracted to this lovely songster when I heard him and another Song Sparrow calling out to each other. I can't believe this shot is hand-held! Listening to his lilting notes made me think of this beautiful song:
