Old Door Bell Handle

My wonderful birthday celebration had come to an end. What a week! Meeting up with Vikki and Bill in Niagara, photographing the stately Bent's Opera House in the very beginning stages of its restoration, staying at the Glen Iris Inn at Letchworth State Park and taking a ride in a hot air balloon! Not to mention all that quality time with my grandchildren! It was hard to believe it was time to go, but it was. Just before I packed up the camera, I took one more shot of Becky and Erick's doorbell- a very old turn and crank gadget fastened to the front door. Instead of pushing a button, you crank this one. And yes, it still works!
