Beautiful shot! Any chance you would let me know what lens you are using to shoot this? I've been trying to get a good moon shot! Having a hard time with it!

@meemakelley No problem in sharing the facts with you. The Canon Powershot SX50 HS has a fixed lens so it's the zoom capability that makes the difference here. I am uncertain of the particulars on it but as you can see it has a great range! There is now a SX60 which I've heard good things about as well.
@skstein I am very pleased with this camera and highly recommend it. I'm sure there are still some of them floating around out there for sale, but since I've bought this one Canon came out with a SX60 which seems to be just as popular.
Wow love the detail in the moon Ann, I had the Canon Powershot SX50, now have the SX60 and really love it, a great little camera and can even shot raw!
@radiogirl Thank you Kathy! The SX50 can too but I haven't been able to figure out how to get my photo processing program to read the raw file. Truthfully, I'm not disappointed with jpeg enough to fiddle with it yet.
