Sunny Boy by olivetreeann

Sunny Boy

My same color week continues with another sunflower shot from my recent visit to the Sunflower Maze in Sandyston, NJ. I inadvertently adjusted my ISO dial the wrong way when I was there, so many of my shots came out over-exposed. But it's been fun to work with the mistake. Since this shot was high-key to begin with, I decided to go all the way with it.

And the result is beautiful. Well done.
It is not that I do n`t like modern. ( In art I sure do) But in architecture it is often more of the same and no regional influences. Those buildings can be at any place on earth.

Nice different treatment of a sunflower :)
September 4th, 2015
whoa! that's a really bright sunflower! if you're shooting raw you could salvage this in gimp or the canon processor (did you get the canon disk that came with the camera? perhaps not. if not, let me know and i can find it and mail it from the states).

Very cool................looks like a sketch Ann!

@pistache Thank you Clare!
@summerfield Thanks Vikki! I'm not shooting in RAW just yet- but I do have the Canon disk which you gave me. I had it in the computer at one point and then had to redo the whole computer and never got around to reinstalling it. I've been rather consumed with photo club stuff lately so maybe in a little while after life settles down a bit I'll get that up and running again.
@radiogirl Thank you Kathy!
