The photo club had a Shoot Out at the Cranberry bog again today, but my hip was giving me a hard time so I decided to not take the hike out to the bog. I showed up to say hi to all the photographers and after they left, I gave myself the challenge of wandering around the parking lot and taking some macros with my little point and shoot. Not a bad collection if I do say so myself!
Isn't it amazing what you can find in the simplest of places. If you just go looking, there is beauty all around us. You have captured some lovely shots.
So sorry to hear of the hip - both of mine bother me too - dang this old age. Started Norwegian cod liver oil about two weeks ago and I am actually feeling some relief lately. My 90 yr old mother swears by it.
Well spotted flowers and captures and a lovely collage. Hope you recover soon I have lower back problems and find a days rest gives me some relief to carry on.
Holy macro! Why go out to the bog when there is so much opportunity in the parking lot apparently?! Fabulous detail To each one of these pretty little flowers. Presented so nicely in the collage.
Thank you Louis, Kim, Diane, Diane, Julie, Frances, Margo, Joyce, Denise, Barb, Joan, Debs, Dione, Bruni, Wendy, Brian, Alia, Katy, Kathy, Alta, and Suse!
And a special thanks to those who fav'd it!
@cortens Sounds interesting Julie- let me know how it works. My issue is probably more chiropractic but until I'm finished dealing with some other health issues that needed attention too, that will have to wait.

Thank you Joan, Kathy, Francoise, and Jane! It's just the typical reaction to changing temps and weather. I just knew it was going to be too much of a drain on my energy level so I opted out. It was fun to do my own walk around the parking lot though. Once I started seeing things, it was click, click, click!
@cruiser Thank you Chris! I really wished I could go into the bog as there are some amazing plants in bloom there- but I knew I didn't have the stability I needed for the trail before hand so, I found something else to shoot.
