Plugged In by olivetreeann

Plugged In

From the photo walk with the camera club on Saturday. I have no idea what this plug was for but it was rusty so it had to be photographed!
Great capture and textures in the wood and metal.

These textures (yesterday's post and today's) are simply perfect. I like the simplicity of shape and complexity of line in this.

Well spotted! There's beauty in everything for those who have the eyes to see it.

Wow love the lines and textures, nicely cropped Ann!
Isn't it nice to get out as a group, our club doesn't do that enough and that's my fault for not organizing enough of them!

The texture of the wood is so beautiful here. Gorgeous shot and composition. Curious on what that plug is doing there.

@altadc Thank you Alta!
@eudora Thank you Diane!
@thistle Thank you Joyce!
@wordpixman Thank you Arthur- yes so true! I seem to find it in rust quite often!
@radiogirl Thank you Kathy! The club used to organize these expensive trips and attendance was at an all-time low when I first joined the executive committee. When I first suggested they stay local and just meet up at places they thought I was a little crazy. But our "Shoot Outs" are very popular now and we usually have about 10 people come, sometimes more if it's something a lot of folks are interested in. At first I was the one setting them up, but lately I've let others take the reins and I think that has also sparked interest too. It makes people feel like the have ownership when they can organize one I think.
@sangwann Thanks Dione! I really don't know. It was odd-looking and in an odd place on the back of the barn. Who knows?!
@cruiser Thank you Chris!
@pyrrhula Thank you Ferry!
@kwind Thank you Kim!
@randystreat Thank you Kathy!
