Rainbow 2018-1

I was looking forward to starting the rainbow challenge but was catching up with some final Flash of Red things so I decided to wait to post the first installment of my March rainbow. I was all set to post this shot the next day when the winds picked up and the predictions of Riley started to affect our area. Then the power went out. So it was no 365 for a few days while the internet was down. So now it's catch up time. First up- green. I'm not a fan of green apples but I do like photographing them- especially in one of my favorite back drops- the kitchen sink.
Love all the different shades and tones of light and shadow. I’ll have to remember your tip about the kitchen sink!

Nice lighting on this one. The green apple has just a tinge of red to give it some character.

Thank you Kathy, Nicole, Kerri and Kathy! Yes, electric is back up for us, internet running (but still no cable) and life is good! Haha- some folks are still without power, so we're having some guests for dinner. I'll be back again tomorrow.

I would never have thought to use the kitchen sink, I must try it

@kjarn Thank you Kathy! I discovered the sink as a backdrop many years ago- before I had my lightbox and when I was in need of a solid background. It's still a great backdrop even though I have a lightbox now too.
