Several members of our photo club are participating in service project with the Cranberry bog. We are taking pictures which will be used by guides as they educate the public on the plants which grow in this unique environment. We went out today to photograph a plant that looks much prettier than its name but lives up to its description- Skunk Cabbage.
The bog's boardwalk has been damaged by the severe winter weather this year. It's still safe to walk on it, but some repairs will be made on it soon. I liked the way the texture of the wood and surrounding plant life came out in black and white.
Thank you Kathy, Marnie, Connie, Henri, Kas, Suzie, Katy and Wendy!
