I love this! It brought back a memory of my crazy aunt Frankie giving me a strand of pearls for Christmas when I was 8 years old. She told Mother “tell Lou Ann to take care of these, they are a family heirloom”. The next day when we got home we found the $ .99 price tag on them. Mother told my Dad “I told you Frankie is crazy”. For years when we saw real or fake pearls we talked about Frankie’s pearls.
@louannwarren Thank you Lou Ann- what a great story!! I did actually have an aunt who was a little "crazy". I have a whole bag of her beloved costume jewelry. But she knew it was plastic and never tried to pawn it off as real. Now I will always think of your Aunt Frankie whenever I take these pearls out for a pic! And thanks so much for the fav too!
Thank you all- this was a fun one to put together!
@golftragic@grammyn More like casting swine into pearls! And Katy, there are only two pigs in this shot- Piggy and Petunia. JoJo is the donkey and Pip is the little black and white cow (the three critters were a gift from our mutual friends Miss Vikki and Little Wahoo.)
@olivetreeann I’m going to claim old age and the fact that I was trying to get as many pictures as viewed as possible before I had to work the fair today! Thanks for your compassion
@grammyn Awww- my goodness Katy! School, crafts, 365, volunteer work, grands, children, husband and now working at a fair?! Mistaking a cow for a pig (probably because of her pink nose) is the least of your worries! No need to claim anything for that when a plate is as full as yours!
