Last minute entry! Not exactly the best I've done and I couldn't find a shot which really matched the idea I had in mind- but it's not exactly the worst either! LOL
Artist: The Walking Liberty Half Dollar. A 50 cent piece designed by Adolph A. Weinman and issued by the U. S. Mint between 1916 and 1947. The beautiful design depicts Lady Liberty striding towards the sun but difficulty in producing a clean pressing through the years caused U. S. Mint director Robert W. Woolery to replace it with the Franklin Half Dollar. Originally cast in silver, the coin was reissued briefly in 2016 in gold for its centennial.
