I've been catching up on the writing for my website and updating the pictures for 2019. I've been playing around with old road shots for a page I call "Ready for the Road Ahead".
I originally posted this picture in 2011- one of my first attempts at working with layers. This is the one I decided to use on my website- I felt it best represented the title. Interested in checking it out? annhlefevre.com
Thank you Ferry, Henri, Wendy, Katy and Phoebe! It was fun to tweak this so many years later. I was surprised at how much more I do now when I process a photo. The original post was just the picture and the texture of the map and a nice frame! Now I adjust contrast, play with the exposure and vibrancy just for starters. I've come a long way!
Thank you Marnie, Brian, Dawn, Kathy, Clare, Rob, Chris, Dione and Marilyn!
@sangwann This shot is from my early days here on 365. I was shooting with a very simple point and shoot then and had just learned about "post processing" as a way to sharpen pictures and improve the colors. I then discovered that you could also change your photo to sepia or black and white, or add a texture. So this is simply a shot that had the map overlaid on it, then faded so that the picture showed through more than the map and then converted to sepia. I do so much more now!
I am off to camera club tonight so I will catch up with all of you tomorrow.
